Brian Basset is an American comic strip artist.
Brian Basset was born in Washington, DC, where his father was a well-known political cartoonist. While attending Ohio State University he sharpened his editorial pencil and became a political cartoonist himself, later working at the Seattle Times. In 1984 he started the comic strip 'Adam@Home', about a stay-at-home dad and his bread-winning wife. In 2000, Basset created 'Red and Rover', a "retro-feel" comic strip about friendship, love and loyalty between a boy and his dog.
